The 2011 General Conference of the European Association of Development Research and Training Institutes (EADI) will be held jointly with the UK Development Studies Association (DSA) at York University, UK, from 19th to 22nd September 2011 under the title "Rethinking Development in an Age of Scarcity and Uncertainty: New values, voices and alliances for increased resilience."
There will be a lot happening there on the knowledge front and I wanted to draw your attention to some of the sessions which might interest you.
Firstly, the EADI Information Management Working Group (IMWG), in addition to its business meeting, has organised two panel discussions on "Improving access and demand for knowledge in a new era of development: shared values and new alliances", supported by Mobilising Knowledge for Development (MK4D) and IKM Emergent.
You may recognise at least one prominent KBF member among the speakers!
