Evaluation reports from knowledge brokers
Output to purpose review of the Moblising Knowledge for Development Programme ITAD, 2007
This is an independent evaluation of the Mobilising Knowledge for Development Programme (MK4D) funded by DFID during 2004-2008. Brokerage and closure: An introduction to Social Capital
Burt, R., 2005, OUP (book available for purchase)
Ronald Burt looks at brokerage from a social network perspective. In his view knowledge brokers are those that are able to bridge "structural holes" in social networks. One possible measure of success in this brokerage role might be that others start making the same bridging connections, independent of the broker, but perhaps inspired/triggered by what they have shared.

I-K-Mediary Network resources
The I-K-Mediary Network is a global network of organisations that play a knowledge and information intermediary role in development. They aim to increase access to and use of research in development contexts by providing portals, gateways or reporting services. Their website includes resources and workshop reports with sections on M&E of intermediary work.
